Space Crafters helped me realize an entirely redone kitchen in my 100-year-old house. The problems included broken-up space, almost no counter space, wasted space, everything disintegrating, basically a nonfunctional kitchen, and dark to boot. Steve and Kelly came up with inventive solutions to create a light-filled space with plenty of room to work. There were a couple of surprises along the way, but where we had to change our plan the reasons were justified. And we stayed within budget except for one or two relatively minor items. I felt I was part of a team working toward a goal. My input was well received and my concerns were addressed.

We began working with Spacecrafters in 2005 when they built an addition to our home. They completed the work on time, offered excellent design advice, and never "nickled and dimed" us. In 2010 we hired Space Crafters to remodel the kitchen and bathroom in our Mount Pleasant rowhouse. We were looking for an unusual period style – definitely not a cookie-cutter project. Kelly and Steven were very creative in designing the rooms and helping us find appropriate fixtures. They even found a vintage sink and radiator to fit the style of the remodel. They milled beautiful reproduction paneling to match an adjacent room. The quality of the work was remarkable. Things were done the right way, even when unexpected problems turned up. For example, they replaced the joists and sub-floor of the rooms when they decided mid-project that it would be the only reliable way to level the floor – without adding any cost for us. The beautiful project was finished on-time and on-budget, and we have since hired them for two smaller jobs in our house.
