Mount Pleasant Modern Kitchen
This once dark and poorly renovated kitchen now sparkles with the modern sensibility of the client. We added light and improved performance with a new layout, energy-efficient windows and doors, high-sheen white cabinetry, reclaimed hardwood floors, marble backsplash, quartz countertops, and commercial-style appliances. -
Historic Mount Pleasant Kitchen
This grand historic home had a kitchen unsuited to life in the 21st century. After stripping everything down to the framing, we changed the layout entirely to bring in more work space, more storage, and more light. All fixtures, surfaces and finishes were selected to reflect the pristine 100-year old finishes throughout the rest of the house. Custom hardwood cabinetry and countertops were selected in close consultation with the client. We re-finished the original heart pine floors, installed a reproduction tin ceiling, re-furbished antique light fixtures and radiators, and created custom radiator covers. High-efficiency LED undercabinet lights, point-of-use water filter, and the use of spray foam insulation are some of the ways we introduce efficiency and performance into this renovation. -
16th Street Heights Kitchen
This rowhouse kitchen had been chopped into 3 spaces: a large powder room in one corner; a laundry/pantry in another; and a zig-zag leftover space for the kitchen. The kitchen had almost no work space, inefficient storage, and no space for a table. By moving the powder to the same area as the laundry, right-sizing the powder room, and creating a laundry closet with stacked units, we were able to create a large kitchen with ample work space, lots of storage, better natural light, and room for a kitchen table. -
Mount Pleasant Retro Kitchen
The owners of this Mount Pleasant rowhouse wanted to capture a comfortable 1950's feel for their kitchen remodel. We combined custom cabinetry, unusual colors and surfaces, and vintage-look appliances to create the look they were after - while reconfiguring the limited space to allow for an eat-in kitchen. -
Georgetown Kitchen
This kitchen was designed to be the heart of this condominium in Georgetown and embraces the owner's personal style and love of cooking, wine and entertaining. -
Fairmont Condominium Kitchen
As the developers of this condo project, we designed these custom kitchens using hardwood cabinetry, granite countertops, brazilian cherry floors, and appliances from Sub-Zero, Miele, and Dacor. Nothing builder-grade here. -
Capitol Hill Kitchen
This renovation began with replacing electrical and plumbing systems from past renovations. The crawl space under the kitchen was a tangle of wires and pipes. Cristiana hardwood cabinets, timeless granite and tile, bamboo flooring, and an innovative layout ensure that this kitchen will provide years of welcoming, stylish performance.
